Mad housewife.

Uh... It's August. In Arizona. I am barefoot, baby.

The Weather Channel on my TV.

Cantaloupe. Nom, nom, nom.

Yepper. But I prefer slime drive. (Automatic transmission.)

My husband.

Yes. But, for the first time since I was nineteen I have "virgin" hair. That shouldn't last that long... I am planning to douse it in chemicals, soon.

Hmmm... That's a toughie. Obviously, I like to strap on the old feedbag and I like a wide variety of noms. I guess if pinned down, I would have to say a really fabulous steak. 


13. What is the last movie you watched?


The Hangover. "What do you do when you're too fucked up?" Tee hee. 


14. Favorite day of the year?


Christmas Eve. 


15. How do you vent anger?


Verbally and at high volume.


16. What was your favorite toy as a child?


My Wonder horse! 


17. What is your favorite season?


Autumn. Summer is over and the days are cool, the nights crisp. Leaves are changing, sweaters come out, pumpkins are piled on store shelves and the Autumn and Winter holidays are all coming up. Alas... It is still Summer.

Cherries, please. Blueberries have a strange aftertaste that is exceedingly off putting to me.

22. Living arrangements?


We live in a rented condo, for the present. Early next year, we should be able to afford to rent a nice sized house. Finally. Yes, we rent by choice. Call us crazy, but we don't like home ownership. Been there, done that. Don't want to do it, again. We love the freedom and knowing that if something goes wrong, we pick up the phone and call the landlord. Crappy neighbours move in? We pack up and move on. House values plunge and property taxes go up? Who cares? Not us! :D


23. When was the last time you cried?


Sorry. Not discussing that.


24. What is on the floor of your closet?


I have a big closet. lol In the back, narrow storage area under the stairs is a few boxes and some packing and mailing materials. At the front of that area is my laundry basket and hampers. Then along one wall is a large container with some clothes that I am debating keeping or giving away. Across from that wall in the corner is my space heater for Winter. Then another container with some random shit in it, a big package of toilet paper, my one pair of shoes and my slippers.


25. Who is the friend you have had the longest?


My only friends are online. Yes, I am as big a pathetic, stupid loser as I sound.

26. What did you do last night?

Buried myself in the Internet until I could go to bed and sleep away eight more hours.

Heights.

Cheese. And spice. When I bite my food, I like it to bite me back.

Right now... Australian Shepherd.

Okay, I'll play. I have been seeing this ABC's thing floating around the blogs for a while, now. I thought I would get in on the fun, tho to be honest, I don't know how much new information I will be imparting, the way I spill my guts, around here. lol

Veg you dislike: Eggplant. And broccoli, lately. I recently made myself sick on it and now I can't stand it.

What makes you run late: Nothing. I am so prompt it is annoying.

X-rays you have had done: Teeth, skull, wrist, elbow, chest, spine. That is all I can think of...

Yummy food you make: Sauteed shrimp in an onion, garlic, soy glaze. (Still working on perfecting the recipe. It is a delicious process.) :D 

Zoo Animal, favorite: Never been to a zoo.

In other news, my ankle hurts! Ow! It isn't "Oh, noes! I need a doc!" sore, just a little unhappy. I'll live. It is a nice morning and I would really love to get out and have a little fun, today. Except for my walk, I have been cooped up and I have cabin fever. Big time.

Tomorrow is Willy Dog's Birthday so I cooked sausages and eggs for him and Pookey. I don't cook like that for brekkie, often. I had oatmeal and coffee. Usually, the smell of sausage gets my tummy rumbling, my mouth watering and my mental I want it! all going but this morning? Nothing. They didn't even smell good to me. I had no desire to try to fit "just one" into my day. Happiness is being over your sausage thing. :D

Something else I realised; when I was out for my walk, yesterday, after my run I was breathing hard, as expected. And for a minute I thought that I didn't like breathing like that. That it was uncomfortable and a little scary. Then it hit me... I used to breathe like that just walking a short distance, or getting up my stairs or taking my usual walk at the lake. I used to breathe so hard that I would be in fear that my lungs would burst, all the time. I no longer do and it is a little disconcerting to breathe that way.

Thank you, everyone who decided that I deserve this lovely award. I am grateful and so touched. I am also a little... Flummoxed. Stylish? I? Not at present. :P

I have thanked the lovely ladies who gave this award to me in their comments. And I am lazy, sick and whiny so I am not going to link. *neener*

I am to share seven things about myself that I might not have, before. Hmmm... Let's see...

1. I can't stand to wear anything tight or up high around my neck. Turtlenecks freak me out, I don't even like crewnecks, I am constantly tugging at them. Choker necklaces are a no-go, don't even think about putting your fingers or hands around my neck, for any reason.

2. If I lived in a vital, urban area, I wouldn't bother to own a car. Walking and public transportation would work just fine for me. I could always rent a car for the occasions I needed one.

3. That brings me to the fact that I can't stand living in the boonies or small towns. Even Prescott is too small, "countrified" in my not so humble opinion. I am a city girl, through and through. And I would give my bottom dollar to live in a large city, again.

4. Rude behaviour is my biggest pet peeve. When did it become so terribly unfashionable to be polite and civilized, I ask you?

5. I like to iron. Set up a board, give me a good iron, plenty of water for steam, some spray starch, a pile of wrinkled garments and a TV to watch and I will have a ball.

6. I think that soup is one of the finest foods on the planet.

7. I think that the platform shoes that are oh-so-fashionable, right now are oh-so-ugly. What is so fabulous about heavy, clunky, ungainly shoes with dangerously high heels? I don't get it.

I am supposed to pas this along to fifteen people. But you are all beating me to it. So, I am going to take the easy way out, (remember, I am sick and whiny!) and give this to everyone who didn't receive it, directly. I think that you are all stylish, fabulous, gorgeous, smart, funny. And did I mention fabulous? And I am tickled to death to have the opportunity to read your blogs and get to know you.

Okay, I have to run. I need to get my husband's uniforms out of the dryer and I have to pee. Water, you know. ;)

1. Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?

Closed. When I am trying to sleep, open closet doors creep me out.


2. Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotels?

I take them. They are provided to the guests for their use, so I snag those suckers. :D

3. Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?

Out. I need complete freedom of movement.

4. Would you rather be attacked by a bear or a swarm of bees?

A bear. I stand a better chance, since I am allergic to bee stings.

5. Do you have freckles?

No. A few sun spots, but no real freckles.

6. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Rude behaviour. Would it kill people to use a modicum of courtesy in their dealings with others?

7. Have you ever peed in the woods?

Yes, I have. Many times. lolol

8. Do you ever dance if there’s no music playing?

Yes, as long as I am alone.

9. Do you chew your pens and pencils?

Ew! Gross!!! No! Never!

10. Is it ok for guys to wear pink?

Absolutely.

Chinese food.

I only speak English. I took conversational French in Jr. High and had a natural aptitude for the language but I didn't continue to learn it.

Letterman.

Doesn't everyone? It's the only place besides the shower I dare sing. I got sick of being classified as noise pollution.

Alabama. Which still confounds me, since I have no love for Country music.

On a cold, wild, deserted beach with a book, a camera and a huge Thermos of coffee.

Then I could add peeing on a beach to my list of accomplishments. ;) lol

Anything made by Krispy Kreme. Preferably with caramel in and/or on it.

No tattoos... Yet. ;) I have three piercings in each ear.

My husband.

Sugar free, fat free Popsicle brand fudge pop. (It was actually quite good. :D)
