I'm too chicken to try sweet potatoes....no idea why. Probably cuz they're good for me. lol
ReplyDeleteI've had sweet potatoes twice in the past week. I love, love, love them. I can eat them without butter (six days ago) and a little salt, or slabbed with butter and some salt. Always lots of freshly-ground black pepper. Now you remind me to get more. They're so good for you, too. There's a guilt-free splurge.
ReplyDeleteHope, I nom mine with buttery spray, a little fresh cracked black pepper. Mmm.. So good.
ReplyDeleteDraz, don't fear the sweet potato. They are seriously yummy. Yes, they are fearfully good for you but that is just a side benefit. They are super easy to make and they go sown so easy and pleasantly. I challenge you to go to the supermarket, buy a sweet potato, take it home, wash it, cut off the ends, roll it in foil, place it on a small, foil lined baking sheet and roast it in your oven or toaster oven until it is soft when you pinch it, take it out, get it out of the foil, put it on a plate, cut it open, slather it in butter (or buttery spray) and pepper and nom, nom, nom. :D
