Holy Shit! Is it February First, Already?

Time marches on.

I am beginning this new month with a monster migraine. My frakking head is so bad I just want to hide in a hole and never come out. But I have stuff to do. I have to get brekkie, clean my house, take a shower and test drive my new foundation, do a pile of laundry... Bleargh!

I'll live. I always do. lol

Doctor appointment, tomorrow. I get to go in and find out just how screwed up I really am. I am going to talk to her about this puffy shit, too. Maybe she can help me. I would love, love, love to beat this puff, if I can. And if it means taking a medication to do it, well... I'll do that, as much as I hate taking shit. That is how bad I want this dealt with.

Food was really good, yesterday as was water. I need to start slurping water, now. Oatmeal for breakkie, methinks.

My giveaway is now closed and I will be drawing and announcing the winner, soon.

Later, gators! :D

  1. I'm sorry for your migraine, Erika. I hate those and wouldn't wish them on anyone. I hope you discover the cause of the bloat. Sounds like a diuretic might be in order. Keep us posted, lady. :)

  2. I am so sorry to hear about your migraine. I just finished up a 8 day one and I wanted to crawl in a hole and die. Couldn't not with daycare here and more but I feel for you, really.
Talk to the doctor and find out what's what. Anything to make life more comfortable is worth thinking about.
    Take carea and God Bless!!

  3. Holy cow, it's difficult to comment here! I'm just checking in to tell you how GREAT you're doing. You're working way harder than most people ever would.

Water retention increases the risk of migraine, and when they wind down, you should dump a bunch of water. When mine end, I can usually tell they're starting to leave when I start going to the bathroom every five minutes. I hope when yours goes away, you kill two birds with one stone. I'm so sorry for your pain. They are just awful, especially a major one like you're in now.

I hope you get better very soon--like immediately.

  4. Have you ever mentioned why you get migraines-or is it known? I feel so bad for you as it seems you get those monsters alot. I would totally take a mild diuretic if it meant breaking the bloat. When I was younger I was prescribed spironolactone with my birth control, and though I peed alot, I never had water weight. EVER. And no ill effects...my mom takes it now for her BP, and she has no issues with it either... Can you make a request? ;-)
