If a Well Fed Crotch is a Happy Crotch

Mine should be ecstatic. As I walked, today my crotch spent two miles eating the legs of my capris. They are so loose that the legs just get gobbled right up. My capris are getting so loose that not only are the legs and ass baggy, the crotch hangs down nice and low, too. At least they aren't falling down around my ankles. The waistlines are well tapered in and they stay up.

It is time to switch over to leggings. I have one pair and they are more fitted and should stay in place. I need to buy a few pair, in ankle and capri length for walking. Then I can leave my capris for around the house grubby work.

Husband clocked my new walk route for me in his work truck, since it has a trip odometer. It is just a few feet shy of one full mile. The odometer was just tipping to turn to one mile, so close enough. I figure that the driveway and the frontage road make up the last few feet. :D Hell, the driveway alone should be worth extra credit. lol

I guess Husband is over trying to eat healthier and exercise. I have tried but there is only so much I can do. He needs to do the rest. Eating food like he does and drinking that sugary soda is a huge mistake and with him being borderline diabetic, his health could go sharply downhill fast. But, I am not his mama. He is an adult and he can make his own choices. I can't make them for him. I will help him, if he wants me to. But I can't force him to into it.

Well, that is about all I have to yap about, right now.

May I just add that those blasted word verification when posting comments drive me in. sane! I hate those frakking things.  I am always delighted when I get to comment without having to struggle with those things.

Okay, carry on. :)

  1. You are so funny! LOL

Sorry your hubby isn't on the health page (yet). But, as we all know, one has to be ready and willing for change to take place. Maybe, as you continue to shrink, he'll be inspired to give it a real try! You are right, of course, you can't do it for him. Keep up the good work (for your own journey), and it sounds like you have the exercise thing down pat now. Kudos to you!!

  3. I tried something similar to map my walk and it was a disaster. I am so not good at using things like that. lol Hubbs and his trip odometer did the trick. :D

  5. OMG, it was so nice to start my morning off with a nice hearty laugh lol!! My capris are also falling off me. I have two pair that I can't even wear anymore...I wore them to bed last week and when I got up in the middle of the night to pee, they fell down around my ankles! If I hadn't rediscovered my lightning quick reflexes after my own weight loss, I'm quite sure they would have had to call in the fire department to extract my meaty carcass from my home with the jaws of life and other heavy machinery. Not exactly the way I want to go.

    Yay on your walk girl!

  6. I immediately thought of naughty things when your post showed up on my blog roll this morning. LOL, hilarious!

My hubby is the same way. He is diabetic and refuses to change his habits. You are right....they are grown men and we aren't their mommas. I found the only way someone is going to change, is if THEY want to change. Until then there isn't anything you can do.

    Keep it up!

  8. I struggle with my hubby's food choices as well. He is sad his belly is big, but he won't give up his sugary indulgences . . . :(
You are right though, I'm not his mother. Thank heaven for that, the woman is crazy and miserable and I wouldn't change places with her even to get her scrawny, boney body.

Oh and I struggle with word verification, too! Lol. :D

    Thanks for your comment yesterday.

  11. OMG...All I can say is that I am SO glad that I was not drinking anything when I read the first part of your post because I would have ended up snorting it all out of my nose. You are one funny lady.

Sorry to hear about your hubby. Mine was like that for a long time and then a health scare finally shook him out of his complacency. He's lost 36 pounds with me. Hope your HoneyBunny comes to terms with his body and joins you, but glad to know that you're not letting him derail all of your hard work.
