The Puff Monster Cometh

Actually...

The asshole is already here. As evidenced by my scale, this morning.

I am up 2.8 pounds.

Gah!

I was expecting it... I can see and feel the swelling. And I know that at least one weigh in out of every few is going to be a bad one, thanks to the puff.

So, yeah...

I am not too upset. Not really...

I knew it was going to be like this and I know that I didn't eat to gain 2.8 pounds of fat in a week, so it is okay. And I believe that next week will show me a much more favourable number, so it's all good.

I just needed to whine a little. lol

Okay. Off to get me coffee and then read some blogs.

Later, gators. :D

  1. Yeah, I feel ya! I just posted about how I'm not expecting a good weigh in tomorrow because of the very same reason!! So very, very annoying!

  2. Just found your blog! I too hate "the puff"
Atleast your not to down about it. Next week will be totally different. I am just starting my weight loss journey, so I am reaching out to others in hopes to be inspired and motivated and hope that I can do the same. Feel free to stop over at me and my sisters blog. Good luck

  3. The only defense against the puff monster is to drown him. He hates water. Drink lots and lots!

keep moving and get the circulation going so you can move that liquid out of your body. Don't let that bastard win!

  4. When I first started losing weight I used to gain a whopping 4 pounds during that time, now I gain 2, sometimes less. I don't know what changed but I do drink a lot of water and green tea. Don't let the puff bother you even though I totally understand why it does.

  5. yes, tons and tons of water is the only solution. I also eat one kiwi a day (skin on, washed) which does wonderful things for the body (digestive system) after about a week or so of 1 a day. I try two glasses of warm water first thing in the morning too. Give it a shot if you're feeling adventurous. This is just my "thing".

  6. I'm glad that you're not letting it get you down, at least not too much.

  7. Just stay on track and let the scale dance. It eventually will dance down to a lower number because when you believe in yourself, all things become possible!

    Keep on keepin' on!

  10. The one redeeming thing about a bad weigh in is that at least you know that next week you'll feel extra happily about the number you see!
