So... Pictures

I did pictures. I am not sure why, now. I don't see any difference. I know that there is a difference. I can see it in my mirror and feel it but in photos, I look largely the same.

4/6/10 Approximately 390-something pounds. (Before I had a scale.)

7/22/10 349.2 pounds. Fifty pound down since February.

Dang it! I can't move pics around in my post to save my fraakking life. Guess that is something else I need to work on. lol

Okay, so anyway, there they are. Before and currents. *sigh* I hate taking and posting pics of myself. Hopefully that will become less distasteful as I progress. Right now, it is torture. lol

Yes. I am aware that I am neglecting my duties as a good recipient of blog awards. I will do my trivia and pass them along. I promise. I am just trying to come up with enough useless facts about me. ;) lol

  1. Hey, do measurements...and if you are going to take pics..try and wear the same clothes. Yellow is a bright warm color that comes forward, black is a dark color that recedes...I would say one of the biggest changes in either picture is that your clothes in the new picture are nicer, and your hair is done. plus your arms arent' pushed out to the sides, they hang by your side. And your stomach is smaller! Keep up the good work!
    Hugs.

  2. I agree with Chris. Try to wear the same clothes when you take your pictures, then as well as seeing the difference of weight loss, you will feel the difference in the same clothes as they get looser and looser. I can definitely see a difference between the two pics though. Your hips have narrowed, and your belly definitely looks smaller. Good job on 50lbs. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

  3. Wow, the difference IS noticeable. That's a huge amount of weight in that time frame. You're working hard at this, lady, and make me proud to know you. I know how tough it is to be hungry all the time. But your exercise probably abates some of it, since it isn't light movement--it's major.

I agree that wearing the same clothes would be good until your pants fall to the floor. It looks as though you've lost weight in your arms, for instance, but we have nothing to compare them to. But your stomach is definitely smaller, and so is your butt. (The dreaded butt, lol.) You actually have a nice butt. It's not droopy; it's high and proud. Wear it, girl.

  6. I can see a difference too. Your feet are closer together, you are standing taller, your arms hang more naturally, and we can see through the door to your laundry room!

  7. I see a difference; your arms are much closer to your body, your whole silhouette is narrower. Awesome job to lose 50 lbs., thus far, my friend. You are an amazing inspiration!

  9. I definitely see a difference -- as mentioned by Autumn Leaves, your arms are now flat by your sides and not sticking out! Your legs are also closer together; maybe you don't see it, but WE do! You are doing great!

  10. I see a difference, too, Erika. Arms seem smaller, thighs seem smaller in the way you are standing with feet closer together. It looks as if you have lost weight all over, not just in one place.

Again, congrats on the 50 lb loss!

  11. Thank you, everyone. :D

I agree... I should wear the same outfit for my comparison pics for as long as I can. Maybe I'll redo them. I should also do the same amount of cropping in all of my pics, to make the perspective a little more consistent.

  13. Even with the yellow top, which one would think would make you look bigger, it' really obvious that you've lost weight, and it's coming off just about everywhere at this point. Good on ya.

This is really starting to get exciting!

  15. My stats are similar to yours - I started at 380 and I am down to 334. I am JUST starting to notice a little bit in my clothes. I can see the changes in your pictures. You're doing great!

  16. Wow! Do you see the way you're standing in your new pics? You can see that you're more comfortable. Your legs are closer together, and your arms can lay more flush against your sides. Sure, there are tweaks you can make to show the loss more clearly; but I can definitely already see it with these. GREAT job!
